Day 17 Friday 9-25-15 Cody/Buffalo Bill Center Part 1


 After leaving Rand Creek Ranch we were eastbound for Cody, WY. 


Within a 1/4 mile of RCR is a log church.



















Stopping for gas we saw this industrial strength camper.  Its built on a Ford F550 chassis.

 
 
 



Buffalo Bill Center of the West



If you pass though Cody and miss the Buffalo Bill Center of the West you have missed one of the best museums in the country.  It is an affiliate of the Smithsonian and the facility and displays are remarkable. 





Lets take a look...
On the outside there numerous bronze sculptures.

On the moose's antler
 is a Western Swallowtail Butterfly

  1. When I was there many years ago they had trigger finger bones on display that were taken from the soldiers at The Little Big Horn, guess it's not proper now to have such things.
