Linda said "I'm not taking any more Buffalo pictures", Let's see how long that lasts.
We weren't in the park long and we spotted a bull elk in the high grass in a meadow. He was keeping his eye on his harem. We pulled into a turnout on a bluff to get the pictures. Just as we started moving to leave another bull came up the bluff then headed toward the herd.

There are steam vents along the roadside. Many are just a small 2 to 3 inch hole.
At some places the smell of sulfur (rotten eggs) is overwhelming.
On most of these formations there is a very thin layer of water washing down continuously, |
