I decided to break this into two parts. There are so many pictures and BlogSpot is giving me a fit moving thing around and not uploading.
We woke up to
32˚ with frost on the pumpkin as they say.
Into West Yellowstone to the Walking Bear Pancake House. I tried something new to me (I tend to do
that) a pancake sandwich. I request
Buckwheat because I have liked them since a kid. Ok… First on the plate is a pancake then two
layers of bacon covered by another pancake then topped with two eggs over
easy. It will be going into Sipe’s Gourmet
Recipes if ever I publish one.
Then off to Yellowstone National Park. We haven’t been here for about 45 years. It will be interesting to see what we remember.
Viewer Discretion is Advised…If you have any of the following:
Zoophobia – The fear of animals.
Bovinophobia – the fear of cows (Buffalo)
Taurophobia - the fear of bulls.
Acrophobia – The fear of heights.
Because they are all in here.
In Yellowstone Buffalos Rule. They go where they want; when they want; and no one stands in their way. Thankfully they tend to mosey and are not in a hurry. But it is rutting season and they can be quite unpredictable.
Ok here we go into a land of beauty and danger.

As we were leaving the Lower Geyser Basin I caught something in my side mirror. All the traffic stopped. I started videoing my mirror. These are a sequence of clips.
Excelsior Geyser is a pool of clear boiling hot water that drains into the Firehole River
Next up was Old Faithful the iconic emblem of Yellowstone.
Linda caught a great sequence of Old Faithful
