Day 12 Sunday 9-20-15.   Devils Tower to Cody WY.

While Linda was at the bath house this morning I was getting ready to go for a shower.  Just as I was ready to open the van door I noticed we had visitors.  A flock of wild turkeys.  I counted 22.  Linda got site of them coming back to the van.  Then when we were leaving we waited for the second flock to clear the road.  There were about 12 of them. 

 

 

 

 

Along the road to the KOA where we saw the longhorns and buffalo last evening we found a burrow outside the fence having breakfast.

 

There is one thing about Wyoming if you don’t like the scenery just go around the next bend in the road and it will probably change.  Rock formation, canyons, mountains, flats…It has them all in abundance.  Here are some of the sights between Devils Tower and Cody on US-20/16.

 

 
 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Arrive Cody around 2:30.  That evening we had five deer in the campgrounds.
