Day 21:
9/27/14
Do any of these items bring up memories of years
ago? Does anybody still make them? Does anybody still sell them? Well yes they do. They can be found at the Vermont Country
Store. With two locations within about
18 miles of each other, we decided to hit both.
This is the place for finding those old and forgotten items. Neither store is near any metro area. The original store in Weston, VT is really
out in the sticks. At least the
Rockingham store is along a main highway.

There is a big display of scales in one section of the store |

I had a Columbia bike identical to this. Even the same color! |
The Weston Store has a sit down restaurant, the Bryant House, and a
snack bar type eatery. There are glider
swings with tables to eat at which is a neat idea.

Since Williamstown is a college town the price at
the old motel I used to stay at is double what you would pay elsewhere. So we headed to Stockbridge, MA and plan to
see the Norman Rockwell Museum tomorrow.
We will be spending the night at the Super8 in Lee, MA
