For quite some time, many years to be exact, I have wanted to see Nova
Scotia. So, Linda said, since she had
her trip of a lifetime down the ICW on the boat, now it is my turn to take a
trip to Canada. The planning started
with maps and a trip to AAA for travel and camping information. After a while I realized if we would catch
the ferry in North Sydney NS we could be in Newfoundland in about six
hours. Then as I looked over
Newfoundland I discovered if we drove 325 miles north along the western coast to
Sainte Barbe, we could catch a 1hour ferry ride to Blanc-Sablon, Quebec; then
go another three miles north to the border of Labrador.
With that settled… the next thing to do is pack up and go!
