Grand Codroy River at daybreak |
Today
started with beautiful skies. It was a
little cool but not uncomfortable. Linda
was a bit slow to wake up…Correction very slow to wake up, so I went for an
early morning stroll. I just tried to
take in the surroundings.

In
the afternoon we went to Port-au-Basque for some sightseeing. As you come down the hill into town there is
the Railway Heritage Museum. They we not
open but I got a few pictures for you railroad buffs.
Somehow
I seemed to make a wrong turn and ended up in Margaree. Now how did that happen? Well might as well get the fishcakes special
at the Sea Side Restaurant. Have you
noticed how much I write about food?
Sorry if it is repetitious but hey, they have some great cooks here! I’m thinking about having helper springs added
to the van because its cargo has to be getting a little heaver every day.
Very
windy tonight so there won’t be a fire in the firebox. I guess we’ll turn in early. Good Night John Boy.
