It has become a tradition
(well, twice) for Nancy and Bob, and Linda and I to hit Steak-N-Shake for the
half price milk shakes between 2 and 5 PM.
Since today is Bob’s birthday what better time to make the run for
shakes! They gave Bob a free “Birthday
Cake” flavored shake. Yes it actually
had small pieces of cake in it. For a
few minutes we were teenagers again at the local Malt Shop laughing and
giggling like kids!
Happy Birthday Bob! |
Tuesday: 3-6-18
We spent the day
visiting with Barb and Casey at their house.
They live on a canal overlooking the Caloosahatchee River with Ft.
Myers’ skyline as the backdrop
Wednesday: 3-7-18
Today is a trip to Sanibel Island
the self-proclaimed Sea Shell Capital of the Universe. There are piles of sea shells along the high
tide line that you could use a scoop shovel to pick them up.
Linda found a fist full to
take home to add to her collection.

No need for a speed limit. With the traffic on Sanibel you're lucky to do 20 MPH. |

I'm enjoying all the sunshine shots.
