Woke
up to the sound of rain on the roof.
There’s nothing like the sound of rain on a metal roof to make you want to roll
over and go back to sleep.
Rain. Breakfast. Rain. Game
of Minus Five. Rain. Lunch. Rain.
Game of Ten. Rain. Nap.
Rain. Supper. Rain…Oh did I mention it rained?

Today
is the day to get some chores done.
First is Laundry Day! Then we hit
Winn-Dixie for some groceries.
In
the afternoon we took the boat to the car wash and gave her a good scrubbing inside
and out. After supper I decided to give
her a wax job. (the boat not Linda).
We
are trying to make a list of everything we need to do so we can be ready to
pack up and leave on Friday morning. Also writing down directions for heading north. GPS keeps wanting to take us through downtown Jacksonville. It's so much easier to take US 301 up to the FL line then pick up I-95. Ain't teknolegy gran??
Linda
is doing a lot better. The scabs on her
elbow and arm are just about gone and her knee is doing well except for climbing steps.
